Guide Dogs exists to help people with sight loss live the life they choose, empowering independence, confidence and connection. For over ninety years, the charity has been a symbol of trust and compassion, transforming lives through the extraordinary bond between people and dogs.

Brief

Guide Dogs wanted a sonic identity that captured the emotion at the heart of their mission: the courage to take the next step, the trust between person and dog, and the freedom that follows. The sound needed to express warmth, humanity and hope, allowing everyone to feel the spirit of Guide Dogs through music and voice.

Musical variants such as emotional and playful bring versatility across Guide Dog's storytelling.

Sonicbrand also created voice guidelines and carefully sourced, recorded and directed Anna Baatz, whose warm and genuine voice became the sound of Guide Dogs, carrying empathy, optimism and reassurance in every word.
